Stellar MLS Basic, Compliance & Add/Edit

Required for new members within 60 days of joining.  

MLS Basic:

As an education requirement for all new subscribers within their first 60 days of joining Stellar MLS, MLS
Basic provides the essential instructions of how to use Matrix, the MLS system, and should be taken after
completing the course, Starting Out Stellar.

Please be sure to complete the required course of Starting Out Stellar before attending MLS Basic.
Starting Out Stellar includes an introduction to the MLS system, Matrix, along with basic navigation and
how to set up agent branding. Completing Starting Out Stellar before taking MLS Basic will help ensure
that you can maximize your time during instructor-led training!

Course Completion & Attendance Processing

All instructor-led Stellar MLS required education courses have a minimum time requirement that must
be met. To receive credit for this class, MLS Basic, attendees cannot miss more than fifteen (15) minutes
total between the scheduled start and end times of the course. Attendees not meeting the minimum
timing requirement would need to return to the Stellar MLS University and register for another session
convenient with their schedule.

Please allow ample time to complete the MLS Required Classes within your first 60 days of joining Stellar
MLS. Upon successful completion of this class, please be advised that it may take up to 2 business days
for your attendance to be fully processed. Once complete, you will then receive an email confirming that
the course has been processed. There is no need to contact Stellar MLS in the meantime as your
attendance is automatically processed.

MLS Compliance (1:00 pm - 2:15 pm):

A key purpose of the MLS is to provide real estate brokerages a mechanism to compensate each other for bringing buyers to each other’s listings. In order for this to work, it is critical that we share accurate data, and additionally, enter listings in a way to maintain the cooperative nature of the MLS.

MLS Compliance is required for all new subscribers to complete within their first 60 days after joining Stellar MLS. This course reviews the MLS comprehensive Rules & Regulations to ensure that all users have access to the best data possible.

MLS Adding and Editing Listings (2:30 pm - 4:00 pm):

This class is mandatory only for those who will be adding and modifying listings in the MLS, but all subscribers are welcomed and encouraged to take the class.

The course will demonstrate how to input and modify listings, enter photos, add attachments into the MLS, and includes valuable time-saving tips and techniques that can be used during the listing entry process.
