Join the Business Partner Committee and YPN Committee for an informative Industry Insights panel focused on the down payment assistance programs helping buyers overcome one of the biggest barriers to homeownership.
Many buyers believe they cannot afford to purchase a home because of upfront costs, yet significant funding is available across our region and often goes unused. In some cases, eligible buyers may qualify for up to $100,000 in down payment assistance through local housing programs.
This session brings together representatives from Neighborhood Housing & Development Corporation (NHDC), Marion County Community Services, Suwannee River Economic Council (SREC), and the Alachua County Housing Division to explain the programs available across multiple counties and the city. Panelists will discuss eligibility requirements, program structures, how agents can connect buyers with these resources, and how to navigate the application process.
If you work with first-time buyers or clients who need help bridging the affordability gap, this event will provide practical insights, helpful contacts, and tools you can use immediately to help more buyers move from “maybe” to yes.
